The Emitter is built around a modern looking aluminium frame, with integrated electric drive system from Fazua - the lightest and most compact drive system in the industry. The comfort orientated geomerty combined with the mid-position motor results in a bike that handles every bit as well as a traditional road bike, but with the added benefit of a little assistance.

Fazua evation is the most compact drive system around, thanks to it's slim integrated design, meaning the Emitter retains a classic road bike look. A unique natural riding feel with no mechanical resistance above the legal speed limit makes the Emitter perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a fun ride at any speed. 3 levels of assistance up to 250 watts allow you to tailor the ride to suit. Featuring the latest generation evation with integrated Top Tube controller.

The frame features internal cable routing, rack and mudguard mounts, and is paired to a full carbon fork with tapered steerer. Both frame and fork include mounts for mudguards. Alongside the drive system is a Shimano Tiagra 2 x 10 speed hydraulic disc groupset with FSA chainset. Schwalbe One Performance tubeless tyres come fitted to a sleek looking Prime Stagiaire wheelset.

    So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
